Below you’ll find everything you need to know about Photo Day, registration, galleries, and ordering.

Photo Day Registration

What do I need to do for my child to be photographed?

Step 1: Complete the Online Registration Form
Please ensure your child is registered prior to Photo Day via your centre’s registration link.

Registration is essential as it provides formal consent for 'Preschool Portraits by Jodie Piggott Photography' to photograph your child.

Children who are not registered cannot be photographed individually.

Portrait Packages & Pricing

We offer flexible collections designed to suit a range of family preferences and budgets:

• Individual Digital Images – from $35 each
• Print Packages – from $50
• Class/Group Photo Prints – $25 (discounted when purchased with any package)
• Combination Packages – a curated mix of digital files, prints, and class photos

All pricing includes GST.

Sibling Portraits

Yes — we love capturing siblings together.

If siblings attend the same centre:

• Each child must be individually registered
• Sibling galleries are separate from each child’s individual portrait gallery
• Sibling packages are purchased separately

What Style of Photos Are Taken?

Our portraits are relaxed, play-inspired, and natural.

We photograph children within their familiar preschool environment, capturing:

• Genuine smiles
• Thoughtful expressions
• Playful, candid moments
• Classic portrait-style images

Each gallery includes approximately 10–15 carefully curated images that reflect your child’s personality and stage of childhood beautifully.

What If My Child Is Absent?

We understand that illness and unexpected events happen.

If we are still onsite at the centre on another day, we will do our very best to reschedule your child’s portraits.

What Should My Child Wear?

Simple, clean, comfortable clothing photographs beautifully. There is no need for formal outfits — we focus on your child’s natural expressions and personality.

If you have specific clothing preferences:

• Note this in your registration form
• Inform your child’s teacher on Photo Day

Can I Include Siblings Who Don’t Attend the Centre?

For Preschools and Community Kindergartens only (time permitting), we may offer sessions for older school-aged siblings.

Conditions:

• Must be pre-booked during registration
• Starting deposit: $25 (non-refundable and not deducted from packages)
• Deposit increases depending on number of children

Due to scheduling constraints, we are unable to photograph younger siblings who are not enrolled at the centre.

Friendship Photos

Friendship portraits are available upon request for kindergarten-aged children.

Because these images appear in each participating child’s gallery, written parent permission (email is fine) is required from all families involved.

Please arrange permissions prior to Photo Day.

What If My Child Is Shy or Unsure?

This is completely normal.  We allow extra time to gently build trust and connection. While big smiles are lovely, we also celebrate quiet expressions and natural moments.

For younger toddlers, we photograph during their awake period. If they are sleeping, we will return later where possible.

​Ordering Your Photos

​I Haven’t Received My Gallery Email

Please send me an email so I can check in regarding your gallery.

Include your child’s:

• Full Name
• Centre
• Class

We’ll resend your gallery promptly.

I’m Having Trouble Ordering Online

For the smoothest ordering experience, we recommend using a desktop or laptop device, as mobile phones can sometimes make package selection more difficult.

Payment Options

Payments can be made via:

• Credit Card (secure checkout)
• Direct Bank Deposit (payment required same day as ordering)

Cash payments are not accepted.
Credit card processing fees are currently absorbed by us.

How Long Do I Have to Order?

There is a 2-week ordering window from the time galleries are released.

Orders placed by the due date receive complimentary delivery back to your child’s centre.

You’ll receive:

• Email reminders
• A visible due date inside your gallery

What If I Miss the Deadline?

Late orders:

• Digital orders may incur a small $15 late/postage fee
• Print orders will be delivered to your child's centre.

Digital Image Information

I Purchased Digital Files But Haven’t Received Them

Digital files are automatically emailed after purchase.

Please check:

• Junk/Spam folders
• The email address used at checkout

I Forgot to Download My Images

Download links remain active until the end of the calendar year.

We strongly recommend downloading and backing up your images in at least two secure locations as soon as possible.

Printed Photo Delivery

Print orders placed within the ordering timeframe will be delivered to your child’s centre approximately 7–10 days after the ordering period closes.
